I love it. This weeks Lens Artist Challenge presented by Anne over at Slow Shutter Speeds is Colorful Expressions. I’m drawn to bright colors, particularly behind the lens. Nearly every image I selected for this challenge had red, orange or pink as the prominent color….I wonder what that means?? Or maybe it’s what I see as the prominent color!
“Red is such an interesting color to correlate with emotion, because it’s on both ends of the spectrum. On one end you have happiness, falling in love, infatuation with someone, passion, all that. On the other end, you’ve got obsession, jealousy, danger, fear, anger and frustration.” ~Taylor Swift~

“Orange is the happiest color” ~Frank Sinatra~

“Pink is the color of strength, a color of conviction, a color of decision making” ~Angad Bedi~

Lots of great memories in these images :-).
May everyone have a colorful week!

We’re having a crappy, cold, gray spring (with some snow thrown in mid-April), so I appreciate these bright colors.

Thanks!!! I used my iPhone for all of these. I’ll be getting reacquainted with my cameras very soon! I have a Canon and an Olympus.

Oh my goodness, those lupines. They don’t grow where I live, so they’re something of a unicorn plant for me.

A lovely colourful post! I think many of us who are keen photographers are drawn to red and its related shades because they stand out so well in a photo. Red is impossible to ignore, isn’t it?!
