Brian, at Bushboys World invites us to share the last photo on our SD card or our phone on April 3rd.
On Friday, April 3rd, we are waiting for our turn inside the grocery store, attempting to stay within the 6 foot ‘safe distance’ guidelines. (Is this really happening??) Sean’s flippers aren’t quite in line with regulations. Some people are rule followers and others aren’t. What are you?

Hope everybody has a great day/week ahead!
….i choose this….

I am a “semi-reformed rebel.” I used to say to hell with private property. Now I at least pause and consider the ramifications of my actions before deciding! 😬

I imagine you come across a lot of those situations out on the trail. not sure about you, but I am ITCHING to get on a trail for a few days!

I miss so many comments now that I’m not on WP.com. To say I miss the trails is an understatement. I was 2 weeks into my thru-hike of the Arizona Trail when the virus sent me home. The Colorado Trail is on the ticket for August though. I hope to start in Denver the first week in August – fingers crossed!

if you make it to Denver in August, let me know! We are supposed to be going to Africa, but who knows. We can grab some coffee or a beer if you can fit it in!

Strict rules followers. So much so that we haven’t stepped out of our houses from last 3 weeks!

How are you getting food and such?? Hang in there!!

Thankfully we had enough grocery for a month to survive. Though, we didn’t hoard but usually have one month backup! 😀

Oh wow! Are you noticing an improvement in the air quality? It could be all in our heads, but the sky seems bluer here.

I’m good at following the rules when health issues are involved. I’m not so good at following the rules when creativity is involved.

I am a rule follower for sure, though I seem to be a little more lax as I age. I always have a fear of getting in trouble. lol

Interesting challenge. I think I’ll join in on this one. I have a pretty good one in my photo deck!

We are very good with following the rules. Valters usually does all the grocery shopping once a week and I haven’t left the house for nearly three weeks. There are plenty of GARDA check points and unmarked cars to keep everyone in line with the rules. Fingers crossed this ends soon 😀

I personally would rather get a big load of groceries and avoid the store for sure! I was wondering how you all were monitoring the situation. Thanks for the insight. Hang in there – it WILL end soon!!

Its insame MB. I can say, the ones outside of Whole Foods are the nicer ones. Helps them justify the prices I suppose. lol

I am not much of a rebel and don’t go to town much so distance is easy for me. Great last shots Pam 🙂

we don’t have these marks in front of stores here, I’ve seen such marks only in one big store so far near the cashier’s area… I so wish this lockdown is already lifted…
ha, the last photo on the phone, what a fun challenge 🙂

I’m a real rule follower. If the rules are there then they are meant to be followed. Being ex-military is the reason for that I suppose.

My dad was too! I watched my siblings not follow his rules and it wasn’t pretty 😬

Definitely not a rule follower as long as I stay safe and everyone else too.. 😉

We were reading an article this evening how you can keep the ‘safe distance’ in the elevator😬
Luckily not our case LOL
Stay safe!!

How is that even possible?! Yikes! Masks?

Yup, masks are now the norm in the crowded spaces, unfortunately. There is a debate if they are truly effective, but better something than nothing, right? My daughter was telling me that taking the stairs might be safer than the elevators. Well, one can do some fitness for free LOL

These are the types of photos we will have discussions about years from now! It’s crazy how we are just living through this insane history. Thanks for sharing, Pam!

Totally. There are days when I can’t get my head wrapped around it all. It’s completely surreal!

My husband is an obsessive rule follower. He’s practically a boy scout. I have to admit, I am usually less of a rule follower. I always think I know better than the rules. During the epidemic, however, I am a strict rule-folloiwer.

I am way more of a rule follower than Sean For sure. Though not quite Boy Scout like! Hope u all are doing well!!

I like to pretend that I’m a true rebel, treating rules as mere suggestions. The truth however is that I like living. I hope to do a lot more of it … so I follow the rules. Most of the time 😁
